June 1 - In pictures

Hotel Lunch

Back alley (this is where they take you to go shop)

EDIT: OMG I FORGOT THIS PART
Back on June 1st, that night, some of us met in the lobby at 7pm, so we could go to an acrobat show. It was pretty fun. Cirque de Soleil-ish (but only $13). And one of the guys in our group got picked to go onstage and have knives thrown at him. They covered his face though, so he wouldn’t be nervous, and instead of throwing the knives they really just stuck them into the board he was on, but we would all clap, and they would remove the face cover and show him the knife that was inches from his head, having him think they’d really been thrown. He had no idea until I showed him my video footage of it. Fun times.

This guy didn’t seem too cool at first, but after he started catching vases on his head and then spinning him, I had to clap

Then since almost all of us wanted to go out, we had the bus drop us off at a strip of bars, and we partied in the “Blue Frog”. They have excellent nachos and some really good Long Island Ice Teas (you know, if you’re ever in the area). They have a list of 100 different shots, and if you do them all you can get your name on the wall. Those of us staying the extra time considered trying for it, but then we realized we’d spend about $400 buying all the shots, so maybe next time.

There's apparently six blue frogs in Shanghai, so it took awhile for us all to end up at the same one

This was a random Aussie who liked to say the line from wedding crashers "Football and crabcakes, that's what Maryland does"
